Sourcing original bits & pieces/building a set.
-Cast side compressor mtg bracket is '70-73.
-Stamped steel compressor front SUPPORT is '70-71.
-There are a BUNCH of different stamped steel A6 compressor front supports. Over the years have pulled A6 compressors out of the trunks of quite a few Pontiacs I hauled in & the stamped compressor support wasn't even Pontiac. Unbolted, that stamped piece went into a stack til later when was able to ID them as big block Buick, Cadillac, etc.
-In the past year went through through & sorted a huge plastic tub of original Pontiac AC bracketry pieces. Bolts, spacers... aargh. Most came from retrieving buckets, boxes, & cardboard trays from a local's estate. Amazing what using a roll of masking tape & an ink pen will do to tag loose bolts.
