I think you're correct in assuming 4bbl with the automatic. Lot's of work to make that functional as the interior really is trashed. Assuming a real '64 GTO motor, there is potential for some serious money for that and the hood Then you have fenders, doors and vinyl top trim and miscellaneous other parts.

My '64 GTO convertible was similar to this, but it was a convertible with the original M20. I only paid $600.00 for it, but that was back in 1992.

I hate saying it' might be a parts car, but unless it's somebodies dream car because of how it left the factory, it may not be worth the cost to restore. Just depends on how solid the car is after further inspection.

Also a vet and hope that you can help get fair value for the car.
