I have all the parts to restore my functional shaker. The question is should I?

The way I understand it with the factory setup it will open only under WOT. Is that correct?

I'm wondering if that is best or not. Would there be any condition of partial throttle that would benefit from having it open? Right now, I have taken out the linkage from the solenoids to the flap so it's hanging free and opens under vacuum alone.

If I could figure out a way to modify the factory system to get it to open at the same time as the secondaries that seems like it would be better.
