Rocky, Here is the picture of the box with the Cloyes part number.

Dan has the engine all back together along with the rebuilt 7040270 Q-jet and stock distributor with its original factory advance weights and springs. The carb had 69 primary jets with 37 primary metering rods and DL secondary metering rods on an F hanger...all which appear to be original. Dan is going to check the electrical tomorrow before refiring the motor. After is has been run and thoroughly checked, Dan is going to check the actual compression with the Whistler (once it has cooled to about 170 degrees).

The original RA air cleaner base may have slight 'bumps' for the Holley carb fuel bowls??? They aren't as pronounced as the '70 GTO RA bases and are hard to discern...Jonny?

We will report back then to share what its actual static compression ratio is.
