It may only have MT rods/pistons and the blower adapter. It does not look anything like the MT engine used in his 1961 dragster, so assume a build for a customer.

MT produced his own valley pan, finned valve cover, breathers, 4-71 blower adapter, 3-piece timing cover, and idler adjusting plate - all for the Tempest 4-cyl and each part had a "Thompson" logo. He also offered a street 3-71 blower kit for the Tempest.

Not saying this engine was not built by MT, or his services, but I would expect to see more "Thompson" products?
