My first Pontiac and second car was purchased in 1971, a junior in high school. It was a 1965 GTO convertible with a 389 4V and two speed auto transmission. I would drive it with the top down and heater on high during cold Chicago winters. I paid $600.00 and sold it for $900.00, one of the few times I sold a car for more than I paid.
My first new Pontiac was a 1973 Trans Am, white with a blue bird on the hood.. it had a sticker price of $5097.75, the dealer sold it to me for $4700.00 plus tax and license.
