My parents sold me their '69 GP--428/Auto in '79 for $650, after way too many speeding tickets they made me sell it. Then purchased a '69 Firebird--350/Auto for $1200 later that year. After driving the wheels off it and burning up the tranny it was sold for $600 in '81. With that money and $200 more I bought a '69 GTO--400/4spd. That summer also purchased a '67 GTO--400/4spd for $500. Worked on and drove those two until 1983 when a Blue/White int. '75 Formula 400 came up for sale. Sold both GTO's and bought the Formula for $2500. Two months later, a meeting with a semi trailer ended that poor cars life. (should have never sold the Goat's). Next year '84 I bought my '69 Judge for $350. It was real rough, but ran and drove. After a lot of time and money that is the one I still own today. A lot of others have came and went over the years and always got progressively more expensive. I still long for those early days!
