A friend of mine had a chance to buy a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T Convertible Factory 426 Hemi,4 speed.7 made? The price was.......12.000 dollar.This was the 80`s.The owner worked as a "carpet man" and the car was perfect to use as a workcar.Just dropped the top and the carpets in the backseat! Anyway,my friend couldn`t afford the car at that time.That Challenger is back in the US and I think it`s restored.
