They're still racing at Wild Horse, but complaining about the heat. Some didn't go because of it & some dropped out. I remember when we raced on quite a few 100° + days, in East Texas. And the humidity was quite a bit higher, than in AZ. BUT, we were young back then. Lots of the class racers nowadays are retired senior citizens. So, racing in that kind of heat could be dangerous for some of them.
For the 1st race, Sacha Hoefer ended up in the #3 qualifying position.

Sacha made it to the semi-final, but there left just a hair too soon, & had to settle for a 3rd place finish.

Looks like C.W. Hoefer is driving an F/SA car for somebody in the 2nd race. Sacha qualified #8 & has survived E-1.
