Default 69 GTO Body Shell - Franks

Noticed that Franks has a 69 GTO (Arlington 01D) body shell for sale complete with title.
It does have some issues.

Crsytal Turquoise with parchment, nice color scheme (except for the brown cordova top!)

Seems like good value for someone with a rusty but complete GTO or LeMans, especially with the clean title.

I'm seeing '55 F' for the color combo....Maybe, let's hope....it was a painted top? In that case it would be Winward Blue which would look pretty good. The rust and lack of paint sure looks like it was vinyl top though, plus, I can't imagine that they would have used numbers for the body and a letter for the top if they were both painted.

F is the code for Dark Fawn which is a dark brown Cordova Top, strange pairing choice for CT!

Doesn't look bad enough for that if you ask me. I think you'd be crazy to scrap that one and transfer the tags to a LeMans.
It needs the passenger quarter... and that'll never get easier to do than the way it sits right now... a LITTLE patching in the floor and upper cowl and that's about it!
That's a solid shell if you ask me with great colors. I wouldn't put the vinyl back on or if I did, it would be blue, black or parchment.

When it comes to a complete GTO shell like that ... I say a GTO is REBORN. Swapping tags, no, that is desecrating a deceased GTO.
