Default Where to get original GM paint colors mixed as single stage urethane?

I would like to cheapo garage re-spray my 62 wagon. It is belmont red poly. Metallic maroon basically.

Ive done this a few times and Im comfortable with my paint gun, and urethane single stage.

Ive used both Eastwood and Summit paint with solid results for the situation. I could get something close from one of those brands, but Im lazy and I really dont want to have to re-spray the door jambs to match. So I really want the factory color here. But again Im comfortable spraying that type of paint with my equipment.

Is there anywhere that I can give my paint code too (WA2670/PPG 50568) and get a gallon of it mixed as a urethane single stage?

Most of the Eastwood urethane paints I've used are 4:1.

I have used it a little, but its clearly not exactly the same. So its an option, but Im a little leary of the difference in mix ratios, there is something different there.

It is an option though. Maybe a paint expert can tell me what the difference between the products are and if I should care about it.

You might try the local O'Reilly's IIANM O'Reilly's corporate picked up the Dupont Nason 2 k urethane line
Now under the Axalta brand

Shot a few cars in it, been a few years but it gets hard and has very good gloss retention.
I am not sure if they order it in or if like some stores can mix in house.

You are a braver man than me with shooting single stage Poly , getting older, going to stick with base clear because of the ease of getting the metallic even.

I tried to find that product on their website, but couldn't. I will stop in and ask them about it though. Seems worthwhile. I did find a page that says they do custom paint mixing but it didn't say what the options were as far as product.

Automotive touch up dot com will most likely have what you need. They have colours available from touch up lipstick size to gallons. Their prices are pretty good but you may have to go bc/cc. If you can lay down a singe stage its not that much more to put the clear on. I used their product for my TATA and touching up under the trunk lid where the original still was it matched perfect!

Im going to use a 2k clear anyway even over the single stage. The plan is go seal coat, single stage color, 2k clear wet on wet on wet all back to back.

Its just more me knowing that the 1.3mm tip on my Eastwood gun will lay down that urethane based single stage pretty flat. I don't pretend to be a professional, and Im afraid a different material might leave with fish eyes or something.

I have used them and they will mix up whatever you need in single stage. They did this for my interior paint. Contact them by phone and ask.

Good luck,

Looks like ppg has that color available in either Shopline or Omni single stage urethane. Not sure where you are located, but NCS or Painter's Supply store should be able to mix it for you. Hope that helps.

Im in central Indiana, but ill check both of those stores, reasonable change that Indianapolis has one. Like an hour and a half away.

Im also going to follow up with Oreileys and see what they can do for me locally.

Edit: There is actually a painters supply in Bloomington right next door to me. Their website isn't much help though, Ill have to pop into the store and see whats up.

I bought some Limco that was mixed for my 77 Seville that was a powder blue metallic.
It matched perfectly.

Which is why I was really looking for something in a product line/type that Im familiar with. Something Im confident I can get right with my equipment first time.
