ANYONE INTO THE SUPERCHARGED GP
how much of a following do the gtp gp's have? I picked one up and don't want to put it in the salvage for parts if they have a good following.

that's a good question;
I know that they do have a following, and I think there is still a fair amount of aftermarket support for them... But I'd wager it may be waning...

There is a fair following. I think mainly as good drivers. I would enjoy a nice GXP or GTP if it wasn't too far gone already. Problem is that most of them have been beaten on and poorly cared for so most are too far from saving.

that's the rare one;
I have seen one that a guy local to me imported - those were only available to USA buyers if I recall correctly.

It was absolutely beautiful.

What Shelby did to the Mustang, McLaren did to the GP. They made 2 door coupes for 2 years, 1989 and 1990. The STE 4 door (or TSTE) was only made in 1990 with 996 built.
