Default HEI coil test

My car which is running (used to be running) a digital 6 plus and an HEI with no module quit on me. I think it is the coil or cap. I checked and soldered the connections so I am sure it is not a connection problem. How do I bench test a coil? I was going to replace the cap anyways but was curious if I should replace the coil and wanted to bench test it before I did. Thanks

test the resistance between the 2 primary terminals and then test resistance between the positive primary terminal and the secondary terminal. problem is you would need the specs but i cant help with that.

I found this link which has stuff on how to test coil for future use if anyone needs it. I was wrong about mine since I changed the coil and nothing happened. Think I might have a bad box but thanks for the help anyways.
