Default Windshield wiper motor wiring?

My American Autowire wiring harness is nearly complete. I’m trying to figure out the wiring for the wiper motor.

Should the star-like wheel on the motor spin clockwise or counter clockwise?

I’ve tried various configurations by running a wire from the positive battery terminal to 1 of the 3 wiper motor terminals and then grounded one of the other two that's on the motor. Some configurations the star wheel spins counter clockwise slowly. In other configurations, the star wheel spins clockwise at a high-speed. I can’t tell if the motor has failed.

Just the way the spokes are, I'd say it should turn counter-clockwise as one looks at it?

That is for the washer pump I think?

Do you have the 67 Service Manual?

Here is a pic from it on testing off the car I think:

Post #2 is for the 12 volts input.

The manual gives all kinds of info on the wiper.

Nice diagram John; I printed it and will work with it.
My original motor has 3 terminals. I see Ames and NPD sells two motors; a 3- terminal and a 4- terminal motor.
