$2000 isn't unheard of if all of the 4 speed stuff is there. It could be parted out and a profit made with scrap up where it is. With that said, it looks restorable.

Looks like it's got less rust than my CA does...

Do you GA guys find many still out there? My first new car was a 74 Grand Am, so that is my favorite. I'd like to find one someday in better than rust bucket or parts car condition. Rarely seen at car shows or cruise nights in my area of south Florida.

According to some "experts": There were only 187 made in 1973 and there are 400 or more out there. Now in 1974...

There are a few 400/autos for sale at any given time. The 4 speed and 455 cars are rare and don't come up for sale often. There is not a definitve Grand Am 4 speed production number out there, although the 187 number was circulated for years. It's more like 600-800 cars, which is still miniscule compared to the 43k unit total.

I had/have a '73 coupe just like that ebay car. Still have the engine block and trans. And got all the other important stuff... White/Oxblood. Stripper. It was/is a 3.23 air car. Bought it in '90. It was a real basket case. One owner car, but sat for 10yrs. I almost thought that pic was my car! It was right up to a row of bushes behind a house, just like that!
