tri-power work with HEI and power brakes booster.
i am looking into switching from a quadrijet for a 65 tripower setup , my 65 lemans has a HEI and power brakes. i saw a post that stated you might be able to grind some material off the manifold and make it work. what about the HEI?
do not want to do if there are a lot of mods to be done. i have an opportunity to purchase the tripower and am thinking it over. thanks, paul |

You will be grinding on the carb body, carb base and the intake.

Yes, there is a guy who sells HEI distributors with a smaller cap and body. There are many low-cost, low-effort options to the large HEI body.
