Will '55 Chevy trunk mats fit the '55 Chieftain?
Do Tri-5 Pontiac's and Chevy's share trunk panels (sheetmetal) between cars, as they do several other panels/sheetmetal? If so, would trunk mats/carpet kits (including pre-molded ones) designed for the '55-'57 Chevy likewise fit the '55-'57 Chieftain?

Trunk mat
Totally different, unless it is a Canadian Pontiac which were built on chevy chassis. The similarities start at the windshield and end at the back window. The trunk pan is totally different.

Hmm...that is unfortunate then. But the trunk lid itself is the same, is it not?

The trunk lid may fit an 860 or 870 but not a star chief. Even then there are differences in the position of the key hole and trim holes.
