Default sell or not to sell

Well what a dilema ?
How do you make the call to sell or not sell? I don't need to sell the car today but in these time what do you do?
I have a ram air IV Judge 4 sp. To me it is the ultimate car and could never find another one.
What do you guys think the car might be worth with no engine but I have the car ready for paint and is back on the frame. i just need someone to reassure me and say don't sell and that its worth more then anyone could pay for it. Thanks,

Chris

Well, I can quote what most all past 70 owners have said to me at shows and cruise-ins.
"Gawd, I wish I'd never sold that car!!" Just predicting the future what you'll be sayin'.

Chris, Don't sell unless you really have to. If you don't have the time or money to finish, leave it alone until you can do it. Kitch is right, everyone says "I wish I never sold that car" and they aren't even talking about a one of 239 RAIV 4spd Judge, they are lamenting selling a one of 40,000 car.

Of course if you decide to sell, there are plenty of interested parties including me.....

Don't Sell. You will make a big mistake and kick yourself for the rest of you life. Find a way to keep it

If you have the time and money to finish, then keep it. If not.... sell it.

Thanks to all after talking to my wife that said she would kick my ass if I sold it. She is not going to put up with me saying I wish I hadn't sold my car the rest of my life. She still is upset we me selling my 68 conv back in 1990.

Wink Keep it...

...and thank your wife for kicking some sense into you! The hard extremely time consuming work is over at this point (rust repair and heavy metal work). It's in all honesty probably one hard week from being paint worthy. What you have left is the satisfying part. Let it sit till the time is right and git-r-dun! -Doug

If its a money question, don't go spend crazy trying to make it correct. Just get it on the road with any old GTO 400. Once you can drive a project, it is much more enjoyable, and you will be more motivated to work on it.

As long as its not straining the month to month finances, that car is about the best place to have your money.

If you're just not giddy over having such a rare, desirable one, sell it and buy a nice, ready to drive GTO.

Keep the car, and the wife!

Don't get bogged down on finding the correct motor etc. if you are worried about spending the money. Pick up any motor, 400, 428, 455, paint it and drop it in there. Get out and enjoy the car a little!

Besides, selling a car in that level of disassembly is about the lowest dollar amount you can sell at.

A RAIV JUDGE (even without the eng) could be in boxes and have a dozen buyers bidding easy the first day...probably bring top dollar even in this economy.

You dont see them much anymore, in any condition for sale. Most are sold private and you never hear about the sale.
