Front stone guards
Im doing a restoration on a 70 1/2 Trans Am and ran across something I've never seen. The front stone guards and the front spoiler are rubber. Almost like an endura. Are these correct?

Aftermarket replacements from the 80's. They were available through NAPA and probably other places. The company that made them seems to be no longer around. Its a shame because they actually fit pretty good.

They fit very good but I don't know if I wan't to re use them. It makes sense as most get broken but it's not correct.

I am doing a high end resto on my 71 TA and am using that same rubber chin spoiler. It was on the car when I bought it. I didn't have a good original one and didn't have a feel for how the repops were. These fit well, look great, and are pretty indestructible. If I ever want to put an original back on, it is only a few bolts to change it out.
