I just ordered the bucket seat hinge covers from our host here and attempted to order the VDM35 interior paint in saddle to make these match the rest of the interior of the car. Says this is no longer available but it is a close match to PUI M35 which seems not to exist when searching it. Anyone have something they have used that is a match to the VDM35? Thank you.

Get it mixed at an auto paint store.

So what I ended up doing was ordering the SEM dye in the Blue Bird brown color which is not a match to the saddle color of the interior but by mixing a small amount of hugger orange paint to it, I was able to get a perfect match. This I brushed onto the hinge covers which took several coats with about a day of drying time between coats and the end result is very good. My wife once had the job of paint mixer for Sherwin Williams and she was able to advise me as what color needed to be added to the SEM brown in order to get near the saddle brown of the interior.

I did not. I will look into that pronto as I could use them with the new carpet.
