Default What's this from?

Console part must be from a big Pontiac. Sure doesn't fit a GTO. Any hints?

Pre-'63. If you post in the '62-'66 big car forum you'll find out real quick.

Based on the number stamped on the back, it's for a 1964 big car with a manual transmission.

Thanks a ton you guys. I don't need it, but if someone does, I have listed it in the big car classifieds...

4 spd with a vacume gauge? never saw one, not saying that it does not exist, just I never saw one with dash tach and vacume gauge on the console. for what it's worth, i think it's an auto console top cause the 4 speed is longer, at least mine is much longer because it does not go up to the dash and has no ashtray mounted on it, it starts foreward or the shifter and goes all the way to the firewall. Just my take.

Gotta be a manual trans. The auto has the shifter part built in to it. Manual has it's own shifter section. I'd also guess it's not out of a GP as they came standard with a tach, correct? My guess is a manual trans 62-64 Bonnie or Cat that it came out of. Unless, someone swapped out the tach for a vacuum gauge.
