Default 1960 Rayson-Craft 16′ ski boat with a 435ci Pontiac Super Duty V8

Interesting boat, more interesting engine.

I would not sit in the back seat...ever.

Cool boat and engine but those aren't 421 SD heads. They have the end bolt holes for later style ps and alternator accessories. And they have the A/C bosses for the later style A/C bracket.

They are 96 heads (1971 400 head)
The block has '78' cast by the distributor, so possibly a service replacement block.
Cool looking boat anyway!

That's an attractive boat. Great colors. Pontiac engine, what could be better. Not sure what the Super Duty references are about. Engine paperwork states it's a 1966 421 block code WJ. Nothing wrong with that, but not any kind of super duty. Has cast KB pistons in it as well. Appreciate all the detailed paperwork included. Boat should stand on it's own merits. I guess many people use the "Super Duty" term in relation to any high performance engine. Could be misleading to those who don't know better though.

Nothing SD about the engine but definitely a great looking vintage boat. Gotta be a blast to rip around in.

I have a friend who has a blown 428 in a v-drive boat. I haven't seen it in a good long time, but its a bad motor scooter.
