Default Which Carb Supply Line??

I have s '70 LeMans with a stock intake and '76 Qjet. I'm getting things sorted while the engine is out and need to know which carb supply line is correct for a stock pump. The T-stat housing is upward pointing to the DS a bit. Any pics or ideas are appreciated.

I see a couple of different options:

Thanks,
Joe

What you need to know is which fuel pump you have. They make an early and late version. The angle coming out of the pump is different. They stock line is different depending on the pump and whether the line goes by the thermostat housing on the driver or passenger side. Check out Inline Tube for the correct line and pump. Performance Years sells both pumps but they only sell the early type line either drivers or passenger side of the thermostat I had to return 2 of them before we figured that out.

I've got a correct for '70 AC 41382 which comes in toward the front like the picture below. The I didn't know if having a later model carb makes a difference as far as the carb side of the line goes.
Thanks for the reply

Ok, so I'm close to installing the 462 and I'm sorting out different things and have come across a snag with the fuel supply line.
I ordered a 70 400 SS line from The Right Stuff and it's wrong. No pun intended.

As a refresher, I'm using a 76 carb with the longer fuel inlet, stock intake with the vertical tstat housing, and the 41382 AC Fuel pump.
Check the pic, its close but rad hose would be in the way. I believe they make a line that goes on the ps of the housing but I don't know if that will work either.

For the record after a little massaging and switching to the short fuel inlet and filter the Rightstuff FPC7021 will work. I bought the stainless version which is 7021S

When I build my engine I think I'm going with the factory method of building then painting so all of the bolts will be sprayed. As far as the fuel line goes I'm going with the factory type and fuel filter in the Q-jet. If I ever have w.o.t. fuel starvation I will go with a soft line from the pump to a filter, (canister type) then do away with the in carb filter. I doubt I will ever do a Drag strip launch so the factory set up will probably do me .

I do like the look you got going on with the clean bolts and hardware!
