I need a factory front T/A spoiler (center section). I had one from the Parts Place and it fit okay. I was using a heat gun on my front foiler to make it fit a bit better and in the process, melted the hell out of the plastic spoiler. I tried to salvage it but to no avail. No biggie as I was not real impressed with it anyway. One new spoiler RIP.
I see our host has one as well as Ames. Ames also offers a fiberglass version that they say will need sanding and finishing etc. I am leaning toward the fiberglass version as with enough work, you can get anything fiberglass to fit. The plastic one as I found out does not take kindly to heat. Also, I am assuming all of the plastic ones come from the same place.....or is one of the vendor's spoilers better than the others? Anyone use either of these spoilers?

OK, let me re-phrase. I have done a search and see that the plastic spoiler fit is okay with some work. That is consistent with my observations before I melted it. My question is has anyone used the fiberglass spoiler and does it fit better?
