Default Battery Hold down

Hi All,

I just changed the entire drivetrain on my '69 Gto and installed a optima battery in the factory tray. The OEM hold down does not appearing will work. Anyone ever use an aftermarket battery hold down? If so what is it and do you like it?
Thanks,
Bryan

I’m curious about this too. I’m using a modern battery and the stock hold down doesn’t work. I tried an off the shelf j hook unit from summit that was supposed to be universal. Didn’t work.

I’m using a short ratchet strap all the way around the battery and tray now. It’s plenty solid but doesn’t look the snazziest.
