Correct upper radiator hose
The correctly formed 1973-1977 upper radiator hose has not been available from GM for many years. Does anyone know if there is a currently available aftermarket brand that shapes them like the vintage images below?
As compared to the ones in my cars: 1973 GTO: 1977 Can Am:

Timely post. My moulded upper gave out two weeks a go. I have a high quality Prestone universal in place but would prefer the factory look.

This is a factory photo of a pre-production 1974 SD-455 Trans Am. Apparently they used the same style upper hose that is on my GTO and Can Am.

That is good info. Can I assume PY carries the Can Am and Firebird hoses?
Being a Canadian hybrid my car has Pontiac style radiator and fan shround with Chevrolet power BUT hoses are not the same as a Chevelle. The hoses you show Rick for your car's and Firebird look like they would work. My photo's attached show my set up pre hose split and with universal installed.

This hose is the correct shape and looks like it belongs on a Grand Prix. It is too long in the front for an A body car, but can be cut back on the radiator end to fit properly.

Top hose is still a tad different than the one in Rick's post.
Bottom hose looks close, but notice the incorrect for '73 thermostat housing. Rick, I think what happened is somewhere along the line, maybe as far back as the 70's, they figured out that the hose that works on the F-body will also work on the A-body, so to cut costs, they just went with one replacement hose for both.

Naturally, it was a cost cutting move on behalf of the aftermarket companies.

This is Jim Early's fully restored 73 GTO. Note the correct hose:
Pete Rust's restored Can Am: Wonder if these are NOS GM hoses, or an aftermarket brand...

Pete and his son have done a fabulous job restoring and preserving that Can Am. Saw them at Norwalk last year, parked right next to them in the show field. Wish I had more time to sit and chat with them, but with our only being there for one day, I was "stretched thin" between the show field and visiting with old friends on the pit side.

I called around Toronto and only NAPA had a moulded hose for the LeMans 350,400,455. I asked them to cross reference Firebird and it came up the same except the 301 was added to the list. The NAPA # is 7573. I bought it and tried putting it on my car. Of course I have an odd ball engine. What I found was that it worked if I put it on backwards and trimmed 4". Works for me. I include photos so you can see what NAPA supplies as the hose for the LeMans application. It sure looks like some of the photos above.

The upper hose on my Can Am was getting old, so I replaced it with an off the shelf molded hose from AutoZone, which is exactly likr the replacement on it when I bought it. Still seeking the more complex multiple curved hose that was OE.
