Default 15x7 Steel Wheel Backspacing?

Do the factory 15x7 steel wheels (for dog dish hubcaps) have a 4.25" back spacing?

Thanks, Dennis

The wheels that I have are 4.25 backspacing.
I have no idea what they are off of though.

Thanks Goathead455. Are they the standard style wheel (non-Rally II) for hubcaps or wheel covers?

goathead455, here is a wheel measurements chart showing back-space measured from the outside edge of the rim...I didn't think that was where that was measured that from...learn something new every day.

Thanks, Dennis

I just put a straight edge across the wheel and measured to the flange.

I too just recently learned about offset & backspacing and how it affects fit on your car with various width rims. Never knew how to manipulate offset and backspacing to get the rubber in the right place and not make contact anywhere. Also helps when disc brake changes have been upgraded and you have to go up on wheel diameter (15-16-17-Etc.).

You're right, the education never stops.

Here's one with a little different info.
