Default So is it hard to replace a window regulator?

The passenger side window on my 66 Tempest will roll up 2 inches shy of the top and then the window crank just spins. I have been manually lifting it the rest of the way but that is getting old. There is a used regulator on ebay and I was considering buying it and taking a shot at putting it in myself...

Based on the symptom, do I in fact need a new regulator?

If so, what things should I be aware of when installing it?

It's not that hard.
If the one on ebay gets goofy price wise, I have many on hand.
I can also send you a copy of the Fisher Body manual for 66'.

Hey thanks Jeff. I'll keep an eye on the one on ebay. We'll see what happens...

How much do you want for a copy of the Body Manual? All i basically need is the info on the regulators but I suppose it would be good to have the whole thing.

also have manual regulators as well. just be sure to mark the positions of all the nuts and bolts so you don't lose the window alignment when you replace the regulator. Body manuals available from vendors, and on CD.
