Hey Guys..Look atthis picture.It is from a 1970 TA with A/C.. Here is what I am trying to find out.. This harness has two large wires that merge at the ring hook up on the rear of the alternator.Both black wires, one with an orange stripe and the other red.The orange striped black wire has teh 30 AMP Fuse holder inline. Can some of you guys check your cars and see if this was just used on A?C cars or do we see it with all cars..

It feeds the high blower circuit only with A/C.

I suspected it was A/C only. I understood it fed the hi blower, just wanted to make sure the non a/c cars didn't have it, the heater uses the blower also so I thought....anyway, thanks for the response..

Some non-A/C cars did end up with the A/C engine harness at least in 1971. Possibly due to a factory shortage?? A friend's January of '71 build Norwood and another's December of '70 Van Nuys have the A/C engine harness but are non-A/C cars.

All 74s to my knowledge get the A/C harness. It terminates at the back of the RH valve cover. Must be a jumper from there up to the actual compressor. I have removed that section from my harness for a cleaner look near the alternator.

my 73 also had it, and i did same is bob, removed it for the same reason.
