Evap. box color
Anyone know what the correct color is for evaporator box on a 68 GTO ? A prior owner went nuts wit a black spray bomb. Also do you need to remove the inner fenders to remove the box or can I do it with the engine out of the car ?

My one owner,untouched 68 was plain fiberglass, not painted at all.

I never saw one painted. They are a dark grey/charcoal looking color fiberglass and were for many years after 67.

Mine is dark brown, plain unpainted fiberglass.
