Was painting a fiberglass trunk and spoiler, spoiler is new gel coat, trunk had been painted and cleared, had some repair done and was respraying it.
Base Clear. I sanded the trunk, cleaned with grease and wax remover, primed, sanded and cleaned again, same on the spoiler.
The spoiler turned out fine, but the trunk blistered and bubbled in various places, but didin't seem to at the repair spots. Have not cleared it yet.
I have just enough primer and paint to shoot it one more time but I have no idea what to do to prevent it again.
Suggestions?
I have no time, got to load and head to the track so this needs to be fixed fast, or at least presentable by this afternoon.

Sounds like the base reacted with something underneath, possibly thin clear. You will have to sand away the problem spots and maybe seal with primer to prevent it again. Short of that, spray very dry coats of base onto the sanded problem spots and allow to dry a few minutes between coats. Tack off between coats. Build enough to hide any color difference. You might be able to create a sealed surface that way.
Give that at least 15-20 minutes then try a regular wet coat extending past the fix. Give that 10-15 minutes (at a temp of at least 70) and put on another regular wet coat extending past the last one. Give it a half hour and clear it.

Based on what you said it appeared it might have reacted to the something, I started with a dust coat but when I put the 3rd wet coat over the 2nd coat that may not have been dry enough is when it got bad.
I only had enough paint left for one wet shot so I wet sanded the crap out of it, still had a slight texture to it in spots but when I laid the last coat of paint on and two coats of clear it seemed to cover it nicely.
Not perfect but good enought to lock and load for the upcoming race. Thanks.

The entire car gets a full teardown after this season but I needed to fix the trunk and new spoiler with the season kicking into high gear starting this week.
Engines, suspensions, whatever mechanical, no problem. Paint and body, not a clue...
