The Process
Ok, former drag racer turned street guy/ rests guy. I'm currently working on a 68 my dad bought new. I have the car striped down and am currently repairing some rust in some of the sheet metal and replacing the upper and lower dash. The dash was cut up when I raced the car so it is going back stock.
My question is once I'm done with the belly, inside and firewall, should I have the body work done and primed before assembling the front end and rear suspensions? Should I make it a roller with all the new suspension first? I'm trying to find out the best and most efficient way to do this project based on others experience.. All suggestions are appreciate! I would do the underside and suspension 1st. You than can use plastic wrap and tin foil to wrap the parts you do not want over spray on. If you do the suspension last, and you need to trim or weld something you wreck what you already did and might have to repaint it. There are many ways to skin a cat though. I like what you are doing!

Good point... In sure I will f up something and need to make changes later in the process. Good advice..thanks. Got a long way to go... Just found some rust holes in the floorpan....
