Can anyone identify these wheels? Are they worth keeping or should I toss them?

I have the full set but can’t remember where I got them.

These came out in the mid-‘70s right about when everyone was getting tired of seeing slot mags on everything.

I’m not into them but someone into the ‘70s van craze might be looking for some.

Funny how close that flop (in my opinion) of a wheel was to the 80s GTA cross lace wheels that were so popular. What a difference some dimension changes make .

I used to see a lot of them on 70s Camaros back in the late 70s maybe be worth trying to sell if they are all the same could be a good aluminum trailer wheel also Vs a steel wheel for someone . You know the saying there’s an azz for every seat .

My brother bought a 1975 Trans Am in 1978. It was a 455-HO . It had those wheels on it . i remember the ad stating they were Aunger aluminum wheels

What is weird is I can’t remember what the hell they came off of? Maybe my 66 GTO. I will have to look at pics and see

Probably not an Appliance wheel (which didn't usually have a step in the hoop part).
Probably not an Aunger wheel either as the wire pattern is different.
More than likely an American Racing wire wheel, from approx. '76.
May be something cast on the backside that says the manufacturer.

I used to have slicks mounted on a pair of those. "Western" pops in my head for a name. Kinda hard to find lug nuts for them. I recycled a pair when I couldn't find anyone to take them for free.

Yes, could be a Western wire mesh. Very similar to the American.

Earlier today was looking through Mecum Kissme cars and a Red "Bandit 2" Firebird had wheels just like that with gold lace area. Late 80 or early 90 cheesy edition car.

Also have cobweb memories of those type wheels in late 70's and 80's , with E-T center caps.
They don't look good on anything though

I’m not sure what to do with them. I will see if anyone around here is interested in them. They don’t really go with anything that I have.

My first car had a set very similar to those. Mine might have been factory I’m not sure. 1988 Beretta GT.

Absolute nightmare to clean.
