Default 69 judge weird brace in bumper

Hey all. It’s been awhile since I’ve posted here. Went through a divorce and left the judge in the garage under a tarp for a few years. Well I’m back at it and I’ve found something odd in the front bumper assembly. The pass side has an extra brace the DS doesn’t have behind the headlights. This car was worked on in the 80’s so I’m wondering if they just left the DS brace off ?? I doubt this is how they sent them out in 1969.

Hmmm. Having trouble posting pics. Any help is much appreciated as always !!

IIRC those are supports by the bumper jack slot. There should be two of them.

Hey Dion
That brace is for supporting the bumper when you lift it with the stock bumper jack as to not bend it. A lot of them are missing after they get taken apart. Glad to see you working on the Judge again. If you need any weird part like that let me know as i have a lots of misc 69 parts. Ive started clearing up cars and parts as I sold 2 of my Judges and kept one and my convertible.
Let me know if something comes up as we are only a couple hours away. Hope to see you this summer. Cheers
