Here are the pics I took of the Blown Tempest 2 cylinder!! Enjoy!
![]() ![]() Note the brackets on the front of the head & block with one bolt holding top & bottom brackets together. This was added later in this engines developement. I never saw it on early pictures. ![]() Blowoff valve on top of intake manifold. ![]() ![]() 1 barrel Hilborn injector. ![]() The famous (or is it infamous) 2-71 GMC Blower. ![]() Half an oil pan!! ![]() Fuel pump driven off of the back of the blower. ![]() Notice the degree wheel on the base of the mag! ![]() Another shot! ![]() Half a valve cover. Only 2 bolts holding it on! You can see the line on the cover where it was cut & welded back together. Is that a 538177 head number?? ![]() Another shot of the clamp assembly on the front of the motor. ![]() ![]() Check out those exhaust pipes!!! ![]() Here's that old fart again!!! ![]()
