Default eBay 1970 Pontiac GTO RAM AIR IV

Not Bad Price for a driver? Maybe? Unless it's a hijacked account.

What I'm wondering is why put A/C on a RAIV engine with that steep of gear? Nicely optioned though.

M_C , all the Automatic Ram IV's got the speedo adjuster. 390 or 433
None of the 4spd IV's got them.

I'm curious about the AC swap deal.
All i can see is "maybe" AC kickpanels at most - hard to tell in the pics.

Pics are cropped and don't show that area of firewall.
Maybe the F-wall has been hacked for AC box - or maybe it had an aftermarket under dash AC unit at one time.

Seems like a good car and a fair deal.
He has had some real interesting cars in the past.

That seems like a great deal for a true RAIV GTO in driving condition. I agree with BVZ about the A/C (or lack of) non A/C dash and no good pics of firewall. Must have been aftermarket A/C or something else?

If this car was Verdero Green with the vinyl top and no Judge stripes, would it command better money? or does the Orbit paint help the sale?

where's the aftermarket a/c?

before jumping. I'd sure wanting to see some pics of:

-the passenger side of the face & top of the cowl,
-steel structure under the kick panels
-rear body structure above the rear axle
-two letter frame code & date stamped

I think he used to sell quite a few former police cars, mustangs and such.

I'd think this car would be one to drive the wheels off. No matter what- it's an IV car and that can't be taken away.

IIRC he had run this on ebay within the last year or so....not sure if it didn't hit his reserve or what happened with the sale. It seems to be in the right price range anyway.

I'd like to see some firewall pics too concerning the ac retrofit before getting the checkbook out.

Is it just my monitor or does something look strange w/the right front Rally II?

Steve I noticed that also but couldn't figure out if it was the picture angle or what myself. I may have to go back and look at it again.

Front wheel looks like it may have been a quick Krylon replacement operation.
Has that sore thumb look about it for whatever reason.

Would have to go ahead and complete the rest of the Judge factor with it being painted OO. Or color change to Atoll Blue with GTO trim.

If i still lived in Greensboro - might would go back with Green paint.
Or if`n i moved to GreenBay or Greenville or GreenAcres

Nobody was in the real market for an Automatic IV 70 GTO last week i guess.
Didn't even break 19k - reserve not met.

1st, it's NOT a Judge. 2nd, there are serious reservations as to what actually was going on with the A/C. Read the seller's ad, lot of wiggle room...
