Once again Norwood has utilized his skills to create another Firebird part. The rear springs on my '71 TA were disassembled for blasting and I couldn't find OEM style clips for reassembly. I sent Craig my original clips and he fabricated new ones. My Delrin spacers and clip rubbers were in good shape so they were bead blasted and reused. The clips haven't been touched up yet in the pics.

Looks just like the original clips, great work as usual Craig. I did the same disassembly and blasting on my leaf plates and was fortunate that all the clips and spacers were reusable too but it took some careful prying and hammering and I was lucky one of the clips didn't break. Looks like you are doing a very nicely detailed job, what are you restoring there?

Thanks Rick, it's a 1971 TA. Number matching, Van Nuys car that was sold new in Sacramento, CA. 4-speed, white with standard blue interior. Despite being careful with the original clips the tab cracked where it was bent over. I was stuck with using ones that didn't look original or getting some made. Craig did indeed come through again!
