It looks like it has a 4-wheel drive. I love the car but don't know why a high-end car like that doesn't have a stock like suspension.

Probably 5 leaf rear springs. However, even Eaton springs are 99% over arched, and rated higher than advertised.

I guess I must be getting conditioned to seeing cars that are too high because this one looks pretty good to me.

And for my personal taste and preferences, that's the perfect 73. SD, 4spd, Brewster, rally IIs, no AC and no console. Perfect.

I like the colors / options on this one they're auctioning, too:
https://www.mecum.com/lots/1118140/1...rans-am-coupe/ Low mile '74 in Admiralty Blue over Tan with 400/4-speed and no A/C; just needs a few details addressed

Arnie was in attendance and only hit $100k and reserve not met. Truth is, 99% of bidders have no clue who he is. He is 95!

I saw this car in person, it was always displayed at the owners Chevrolet dealership in Saukville WI just a few miles from me. It’s so nice!
For done reason those pics do make it appear to have a higher stance than I remembered. He's got 4-5 other incredible cars (26 total) in that collection he’s selling! The ‘69 RAIV TA is mint condition as well!

Wow! I see the Brewster Green brought $260K of green! That is very fitting, such a great car!
I so wish I’d know the day they were loading it up for auction back home, would’ve loved to hear it run and take some videos of it and its brethren being loaded up! The 69 TA brought $325k, 69 RAIV Judge $240k, 71 Formula 455HO $110k!
