Gainesville Raceway in Florida has started back their regular bracket series. Racers and one crew member only, no spectators at this time.

Heck since this whole pandemic started ive ran a convertible fox body on 11th, late 60s early 70s Chevy truck on fifth street, crotch rocket on MacArthur and the best one was an 04on vet on Stevenson Dr that I pulled away from in second gear while blowing the tires off, ran it through 3rd, granny shiftin into 4th while drinking a cup of coffee Lol Of course all this was while on vacation down in Mexico

But as far as dragstrips, I believe Coles County is running and I've heard bad things about the track in Havana. I've been told because of the pandemic the new buyers have backed out of buying it contract for deed. My understanding is that if there are no races run the farmers have some type of option to shut it down. Really not sure how that works, just what ive been told.

Happy racing to all

We had our first ultra race at Cecil County. We race once a month but this was our first this year.

Was going to race a local "Off the Street Drags" 1/8th mile fun/grudge racing but Mother Nature rained it out. I'm hoping to pull the 78 T/A out of hibernation this week in hopes/belief the drag strip will open sometime this month...

Just did a track rental at Lebanon Valley in New York on Saturday. That’s all they’re allowed to do for now. Hopefully, things will get back to normal soon.

There was a rental last night here but with heat index in the 100s and some other things I had to get done I passed.

Bandimere speedway (Thunder mountain) is basically operating as normal. I was out there twice last week.

Minnesota tracks opened last weekend with limitations. We have been traveling to South Dakota and Iowa to race since May 1.

No, first round loser. Lol. Was fighting a lean problem in high gear and the rain Friday evening really messed me up. I needed those two passes to put me in a better spot for Saturday first round. Put an air pan on and it fixed my 02s , must have been some air turbulence doing some wierd stuff to the carb. Picked up 2.6 mph. Now i can make some forward progress.

Found a 3 day Bracket race at Mid Michigan Motorplex on July 4 weekend. Sounds like a good race to break my engine in.....they are also running a quick 8 door car race!

Some......tightened up the pistons to cylinders and had APD redo the carbs so they will pass more fuel! Maybe a new blower later.

We had our 4th track points race at bandamier this past weekend but it rained out just as elimination started on Saturday. We have been running for over a month up here though. A lot of cars in super pro. And more in pro et. Alot of rounds to get an event win.
We had 70 mile per hour winds Saturday that caused some damage to trailers cars and tow vehicles. I lost a fuel can that had a gallon of c14. Blew away like it was an empty water bottle.

There's a new story with old familiar faces that Havana may be opening sooner than later. Hopefully they can get the deal done and get some cars running
