1962 Tempest Lemans Advice
Looking for some advice I have a 1962 Lemans with the 195 3.2 4 Barrel and 2 Speed Auto. It has been in my family since 1962 and actually still has the original plates never been registered as an antique. It has just under 47000 miles on it all original garaged all 60 years of its life and not used in winter. Unfortunately I don’t have time to use it since inherited it and liking to sell but it is not the muscle car everyone is looking for so looking for advice on how to sell the car. Thanks!

I know this Tempest. I met the owner at an all Pontiac car show in Rhode Island. I heard he had passed away a few years ago. I believe his name was Frederick Brown.
A very nice car! I took pictures of the LeMans on 9-14-2014. |

Listing the car for sale on here and and Little Indians website are both great ideas but I think listing on Ebay would give you the broadest audience.
I would do a detailed cleaning inside and out like you were taking it to a car show. Armour All the tires. And take lots of detailed pictures including engine, trunk, underside, etc. Because of it's nice overall condition, I think it would attract a lot of interest. |
