Rochester carburetor
I have a 67 GTO with 1971, 400 engine. The intake manifold number matches the one for 67, the quarter Quadra jet that’s on it number say it’s off a Chevrolet. It is missing quite a few parts, the primary flapper, secondary linkage, and it is slightly damaged. I would like to replace it with a different Rochester Quadajet. The number on the current carb is 7037263. I see a lot of cheap Chinese reproductions. I have no idea how good they are. I’m also Looking for a rebuilt, original quad jet. Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated!

That carb is listed for a 1967 GTO either AT or MT with A.I.R.

7037263 is for 1967 GTO or 428 HO w/A.I.R. and M/T.
. 7037262 is for 1967 GTO or 428 HO w/A.I.R. and A/T. 7037272 is for 1967 Firebird 400 w/A.I.R and A/T. 7037273 is for 1967 Firebird 400 w/A.I.R and M/T. Replace the 7 in the middle with a 6 and you´ll have the corresponding carb w/o A.I.R |

Rochester carb
Thank you guys for all your input, but I may be too stupid to be helped! The number of my current carb I posted is incorrect. I have no idea where I got that number, probably from researching the carbureted I wanted. The number of my current carburetor is 7042202 DJ underneath the car number is 1122.. car is missing, primary flapper. Divorce choke, secondary linkage, and there’s some damage in the front of the primary throat.
I will try and post some pics |

Again, call these folks. They may even have an NOS one for your car, And they go through them to replace any parts that are not ethanol friendly. Even with the changes they made to mine, I still run ethanol free gas I even found 93 octane ethanol free gas at one station.
They are very knowledgeable and will help you get the correct carb for your car. I bought my Rochester Quadrajet from the for my 67 GTO and also bought a two barrel for my fifty Pontias Streamliner with a straight 8 . Both were bolt on and go. https://www.carbs.us/
