Finally made it to the track
Got the GrandPrix to the track, right off the street (drove 130miles round trip). Not bad for 4200lbs and 3.55 gears. There is a good .15 in just the crappy mufflers on it but with the roll bar rule not sure I'll pursue it. Thanks to Paul K for the great heads, carb and converter.

Great to here!
How much fuel did that baby consume on that round trip?

About 18gal, that's roughly 130miles at 70-73mph and 6 full throttle passes. Not too imo.

So that's where you were! I drove around the Cordova pits a few times looking for you guys. Great job on that car, love those old Gran Prix's. Just when I think I get my car running good, yours is quicker ( .20 tenths ), ha
Who is driving that beast? What is the head ,cam, intake specs? |

Although I was trying different shift rpm's, times did not change a lot. 5 runs between 11.85 - 11.91
7.53 was the 1/8 mile, hence my .20 comment to Brian. This RA 4 cam seems to not pull very hard the last 1/8 mile. Had I known you guys use this forum I would have ventured over your way. |
