What gets sealed on a convertible?
I know the top windshield header gets caulking. What else on the convertible trim gets sealed? A pillar panel?

The only real caulking is to hold the windshield in place. The top seals to the header with a rubber weatherstrip, and uses rubber weatherstrips to seal at the A pillar and at the tops of the windows.

The windshield Top Molding and end caps as well as the A-Pillar trim had a Dum Dum type sealant.
This can be found in various widths and thicknesses As mentioned it's not a "Caulk" per se more of a pliable sealant putty in tape form.

Ok. Those are the pieces I was thinking that got sealant. Just double checking. I have the 3M strip caulk. Thanks
