I am converting a column shift Tempest to floor shift. i have purchased the shifter from E-Bay, but I do not know what the wiring spades on the base are for. It has 4 spades total, two are male prongs and 2 female receptors.
Can anyone help? |

Back-up lights and Netural safety sw.
My Rig's a little old, but that don't mean she's slow.

green wires go to the reverse portion, purple wires go to the neutral portion. When you unplug your harness from the base of the column where the neutral safety switch is for the column shift, you just need to extend those wires under your console. If you have a console harness, then you would need to change the plug on your dash harness so you could just plug it in.
