I have a 66 gto and I'm putting my rearend back togeather...I forgot to take pictures of the rear drum brake springs, how they all go back. If someone has a picture of the drivers and passenger side that would be a help.

I have some pretty good pictures of my 64. The brakes should be pretty much the same. I'll make three separate posts with one picture each.

66GTO, You can either look in a service manual or just for reference sake look at this page http://www.78ta.com/rbrakes.htm this guy does the rear brake overhaul on a 78 TA but hey its still a drum brake. Ill post this too but if it doesnt show up well it can be seen better on the site I just listed.

Thanks for the pictures to bad I got called into work this weekend, I really wanted to get this done this weekend. You did a very nice job on your car from what I can see from the pictures. Thanks again, Anthony
