A manufactureer is in the R&D process on a new Pontiac intake manifold for use on mild to highly modified Pontiac engines. The manifold is to be manufactured in state-of-the-art process that eliminates core shift providing a highly finished product. The manifold will

<UL TYPE=SQUARE><LI>flow enough to feed 300 CFM heads out of the box.
<LI>have port dimensions that eliminate the need for extensive runner and plenum work.
<LI>have high velocity runners
<LI>have no exhaust cross over for a cool intake charge.
<LI>fit the standard 4150 flange and dominator flange.
<LI>...and it will fit under the stock hood![/list]
Please provide your input as further encouragement to the manufacturer. You would expect/be willing to pay?

Do you have a torque comparison between the Performer RPM and the Tomahawk at say 3,500 rpm?

Also, any more news on the new heads? We haven't heard anything from you on this since June . . .

Now, if we could just get the 74 SD-455 casting numbers on the manifold I would buy one the first day. I suppose that is asking too much.

Would be serious about trying your intake on my 1976 500 cu.in. plus ATI Procharger set up if it flows those #'s and comes in around the same height as the Holley Street Dominator for my ATI ProCharger blow thru applications. With the hat and the taller Victor intake, kinda makes it rough to use a stock type appearing hood. You know that stealth mode.

Kinda hard to make blow thru power when your restricted to the Firebird hood lines.

Do you have torque curve data comparisons to publish? Your mule engine sounds reasonable for a street engine combo, what headers are being used? 4 tube and tri-Ys would be most helpful.

Can you compare TII, RPM, Victor, Holley SD, and the new intake? Of course a Q-Jet would be the berries to have with the stock shaker on the gen 2 cars.

Is there a date set yet that you hope to have the the intake available by? When will you start engine testing (comparing intakes) with it and have some results?

The Manifold that we made was two torker manifolds cut in half with the halves welded together. The Manifold worked great for a "stock" set of heads. Then when acid dipping came on the scene the manifold did not work as well as the warrior.

We HOPE we will see it by Feb! As soon as we get pics we will post them! We did our dyno-tab( the pill octane booster) test with our prototype! But that prototype is probably been cut into 4 pieces to make the molds!!! As soon as we get a pic you will also see 1/8 page adds in PE and HPP and Smoke Signals.
Dave and I will keep you all updated! There are ALOT of cool things happening right now at PPR. That you will all see soon!
