Hi all you xperts-

I bought a used Hurst shifter that is in excellent condition but is missing the two bolts that stick out of the front and back of the shifter box. What are these bolts for? Is it to adjust the throw of the stick?

Robby D

Thanks

Robby D,
The bolts are stops for the stick, so yes in a sense they adjust the throw. Hope you have all the correct shift rods and mounting plate for the firebird - this stuff is not universal across platforms.

Chuck
