Congradulations to Scott Rex for running further into the 7's on Saturday. If the track was prepped better he would have been deep into the .50's.

Yes, it's the same. 517ci with Super Chiefs. I'm still waiting on a crankshaft for my new engine. Should be here by Christmas! (just kidding, David Butler is doing all he can to move the process along)

I ran a 9" converter last year after I broke my 8". It was tight. The 60 ft time with the 9" was 1.12 it dropped to 1.09 with the 8" leaving at 6300.

Yes, thanks for recommending Harlow. They did a great job for a great price. Weld now sells rear Magnums with polished centers.

I like your front bling-bling wheels.I heard you got the gold off the rear wheels.

If I had couple of gold front teeth or
Ray Cox's car I would have left my rear center wheels gold but thats just not me.

Way to go Scott!!!!

Hope we have great weather at VMP and we'll see you run there in six more weeks!

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">On a side note, I'm not trying to be on a list or be the quickest or fastest anything. Just trying to see how fast I can get a Pontiac to go for my own satisfaction. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

And that's the best reason of all. Well done!

Exactly my point, Scott's about to outrun the fastest dragsters running "On Motor" too!!!!

Would be neat for a door car to hold the title of Quickest N/A Pontiac also...just under Advanced ET a bit...7.49
