Depends on what his definition of a little bit of rust is. Aftermarket body parts for these cars are almost non-existent. pics would be helpful in determining the worht of the car. What kind of shape is the interior in? Does the dash pad have cracks?

If you really feel bad about the car just sitting there, post the contact information and let someone else have a crack at it. The guy might sell when he sees a couple of Ben Franklins waving at him. It wouldn't be worth the money it would take to put it back on the road, but it is definitely worth parting out. I see a good spoiler and shaker, and under that protective layer of dust there may be some interior parts worth salvaging. It even has all four Rally 2 center caps to go with those wheels.

I'm still unsure of your intent, you hint around like you really want it sold, yet you repeatedly refuse to put anyone in contact with the owner. If he really wants to sell it, it shouldn't matter who he sells it to, as long as he gets paid.
