I am looking for a 1971 or 72 GTO hood that can be junk but has a decent under structure to repair a hood that I have. I have a hood with a modified under structure in the hood scoop area. I would only need from the front of latch area to the area behind the scoops. If you measured from the point of the hood, 24" back from there would do it. A hood that is severely damaged at the rear would be ideal. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. You can email me at [email protected]

I have a 72 hood that I replaced because it had the pitting on the sheet metal over the reinforcement. If you ever are in the Saint Louis MO area, stop by and take a look. labgab68 yahoo.com

I have a 72 hood that you may be interested in. The problem is is that there is is a buckle on the drivers side, and the front of the hood has rust through it. I am not sure about the support, because it was on a parts car that I bought years ago, and I had an extra hood already. Where in Wisconsin are you located? Let me know if you want some pics. I don't want any money for the hood, you can have it if it works for you.
